Falabella Transforma — Branded VR Games Experience

Falabella Transforma was a gamified virtual reality experience created for a four-day live exhibition. The project was developed for Virtual World, now VWX, with Falabella as the end client.

Designed for Meta Quest 2, the application transformed the visual identity of the Falabella ecosystem into a futuristic virtual fair composed of four timed minigames. Visitors could explore a central hub, choose between different activities, compete for scores, and experience each of the group’s brands through a distinct gameplay mechanic.

I was responsible for the complete production and development of the application, including experience design, environment creation, 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, spatial UI/UX, gameplay programming, physics, interaction systems, animation integration, scoring and timer logic, optimization, testing, and final deployment in Unity using OpenXR.

The official logos and graphic materials were supplied by the client. I created the overall visual direction, three-dimensional adaptation, graphic composition, environmental branding, and artistic integration of those assets. The final visual approach was reviewed and approved by the client.

Central Hub and Virtual Host

The experience begins in a futuristic hub where users are welcomed by an android host that introduces the application and guides them toward four branded game stations. Spatial menus, score displays, timers, navigation controls, and visual instructions were integrated into the environment to make the experience accessible even to visitors with little or no previous VR experience.

Fpay — Archery Challenge

Players use a virtual bow and arrows to hit balloons and moving targets before the timer expires. The system included bow handling, string tension, arrow spawning, projectile trajectories, physical collisions, target movement, hit detection, scoring, audiovisual feedback, and timed progression.

Falabella — Minigolf

The Falabella station featured a stylized minigolf experience with multiple holes. Players had to control direction and shot strength while considering rolling, collisions, rebounds, and surface behavior. The activity included custom interaction logic, hole validation, score tracking, and progression between courses.

Falabella.com — Virtual Roller Coaster

This experience placed the user inside a fast-paced roller coaster moving through an abstract branded city. Rail-based movement guided the player through environments, obstacles, product boxes, visual effects, and appearances by the brand mascot, providing a dynamic contrast to the skill-based minigames.

Sodimac — 3D Construction Challenge

The Sodimac activity was a timed spatial puzzle in which players had to assemble a house using colored 3D pieces. A reference panel displayed the target structure, while custom socket and validation systems checked the position and orientation of each component, providing immediate feedback and confirming successful completion.

Event-Oriented Development

Because the application was created for a public event, it had to be visually engaging, intuitive, stable, and easy to restart between participants. Each game was designed to be understood quickly and completed within a limited time.

Particular attention was given to clear instructions, immediate feedback, consistent interaction patterns, automatic game-state management, scoring, session timing, and reliable transitions between the hub and each activity.

The final application brought together four different gameplay systems within a single optimized Meta Quest 2 build, representing Fpay, Falabella, Falabella.com, and Sodimac through distinct mechanics while maintaining one cohesive branded experience.
